Lori Rae Palumbo – Wet
Paint Studios & Lollipop Art Productions Lori Rae’s unique painting
style, with chunky brush strokes and a buildup of paint, transforms
canvas into sculpture. Her latest work, “Vintage Cars!” is yet another
series, using a wet-in-wet painting technique. A distinctive, brightly
colored palette and off-center perspective are instantly recognizable
as her own. As she paints she reveals the character found hidden
in the façade of every vintage car and christens each with a name
from the era in which that car was produced. Framed in barn board,
cars like “Tallulah” and “Norma Jean” will beg you to relive days
you may not have been alive to see! Elizabeth Fraser – Champ
Art & Paint Squared Elizabeth
focuses on the rugged beauty of the Maine coast. The colorful changes
that occur throughout the day and night intrigue and inspire her. She
is enchanted by the vastness and power of water. In her own words:
“The Maine landscape simply speaks to me”. Her paintings show energy,
movement and feeling through bright, bold, expressive strokes. Creating
genuine and intense moods on canvas, she invites the viewer to enter
her moment, squinting at the blinding sunrise, smelling the sea breeze,
shivering at the cold of a dark winter night, or relishing the warmth
of a sunny summer day. |
