In
2008 Wet Paint! Studio news, I have been working
in a constant flow of commissions since mid-2007
which include Cats, Dogs & Cars. It's been
an enlightening experience & has challenged
me to think even further outside the box, bringing
my work to a whole new level. I have been working
in both Oil & Acrylic, on Canvas & Linen,
real BIG and very small. Many times I meet the
pet or see the car (if possible) to get a feel
for it's personality. Word of mouth has been my
greatest form of advertising. My latest work is
now featured on this website.
My
focus this year will include continuing the above,
and introducing some "flowing figures"
a series of female figures that I am working into
my montage of artwork. I will also start a series
of "dog mug shots" to build up my inventory
in preparation for a fall Pet Show. The last goal
for the year is a short series of Catalina Paintings
created using pictures from my honeymoon last
year. These will gradually arrive on my site throughout
the year.
New
dog, cat and car note cards are also coming off
the press and will be for sale soon. These will
feature some of my latest work plus a few old
favorites that I continue to market. Keep an eye
on my card page for updates
in the near future.
I
am hoping to spend more time painting & concentrating
on a few quality shows this year. Watch for updates
for where to find my art on my current
show page.
Although
I am still marketing work on Ebay, I have changed
my focus and have mostly marketing Note Cards
only in that particular online marketplace.
In
Lollipop Art Productions news, I am still amazed
at the talent I am finding to decorate the walls
of the two art spaces I manage. It keeps getting
better and better, and guess what - it's selling.
